Protest Press facilitates workshops aiming
to encourage activation of voice and opinion through making. In workshops, participants
are guided to make powerful protest posters.
Our workshops are grounded in paper, facilitating a space for discussion and making. As creative conscious thinkers, sustainability remains at the core of our process through use of recycled paper. Protest Press aims to create inclusively and therefore keep our techniques open and accessible to audiences of all creative capabilities.
We explore a range of topics by initiating conversations, developing understanding through research and forming bold ideas.
We consider language to be equally important to visuals, and develop thoughts into words into powerful phrases.
Our workshops adopt a variety of design methods and techniques. We are adaptable
to space, audience, theme and goals.
We encourage exploration of techniques, colours and visual style, asking how a phrase can be visually supported and amplified.
