  • 11   Leeds Art University

    Protest Press was invited to give a talk sharing our progress so far and following this run a workshop. Students were encouraged to push their posters out into the public, engaging beyond the art school and circulating opinions.

    A 2 day workshop at the Science Gallery London in collaboration with their new exhibition 'Hooked'. Exploring the theme of addiction through discussions and making.

  • 09   Guilt Free, London Design Festival,

    2 day London Design Festival workshop in collaboration with FranklinTill studio examining the 'Guilt-Free' and sustainable agenda. Protest Press also features in Viewpoint magazine.

  • 08   PROCESS!, Somerset House

    Workshop as part of print and publication exhibition PROCESS! at Somerset House. The workshop explored various themes emphasising on the power of activism.

    Collaborative workshop with designer Anthony Burrill. The workshop was timely themed to celebrate 70 years of the NHS.

    Working with Kingston University, Protest Press has run a series of workshops with local students and teachers, particularly examining the current and future state of art schools.

    Workshop with art and design students at the Brit School as part of their Career Futures week. Themes explored bullying in schools, Trump and Facebook data.

    Feature of an exhibition exploring protest through different forms. Showcasing both letterpress and photocopy prints from previous workshops.

  • 02   Art Foundation students workshop

    Workshop with Art Foundation students from Kingston University. This public workshop explored photocopying as a process of making poster prints rapidly.

  • 01   Interdisciplinary week, Kingston University

    Founding Protest Press workshop that applied folding techniques through the letterpress forming powerful posters. This initial workshop grounded our beginnings and intentions from which we have grown larger and louder.
